  • For those unsure where to begin, a comprehensive initial assessment provides a clear starting point. During this evaluation, we carefully explore your goals, needs, and current challenges to determine the most effective path—whether that involves integrative psychiatry, coaching, therapy, or a combination of these services. We also coordinate, when helpful, with our wellness partners at Mosaic Health & Wellness Group to support a holistic, whole-body approach, incorporating the pillars of lifestyle medicine and ensuring truly integrated care.

  • We do not work with insurance because true healing requires time, depth, and space. Insurance models often limit visits to brief, symptom-focused appointments that prioritize speed over transformation. By operating outside of those constraints, we can spend unhurried time with you and your family, explore what is beneath the struggle, and integrate psychiatry, counseling, and holistic support in a way that honors your whole person. Your care is never dictated by codes or quotas. Your healing is never rushed.

We recognize that many conventional models reward frequency of visits rather than meaningful progress. Our approach prioritizes healing that helps patients need us less, not more.

With all of that said, we are still happy to provide an insurance-ready receipt that patients can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. Each insurance company is different in the way it reimburses for these visits; please contact your insurance company for more information. *Also see FAQ question about potentially using HSA funds for services

  • New: Use Your HSA Funds for Our Services

Beginning January 1, 2026, you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) funds to pay for eligible mental health and psychiatric services.

Under recent federal tax law changes included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and clarified by IRS guidance, expanded HSA rules take effect for plan years starting in 2026. These changes broaden the types of health care arrangements and qualified expenses that can be paid tax-free with HSA dollars. IRS+1

     What this means for you:
    • If you have an HSA-eligible plan in 2026, you may use your HSA to pay for approved psychiatric and mental health services we provide.*
    • This includes amounts you pay directly for qualified medical care that meets IRS criteria.
    • As always, eligibility depends on your specific HSA plan rules and IRS definitions of qualified medical expenses.*

*Please consult with your HSA administrator or tax advisor to confirm whether your specific services qualify and how best to use your HSA funds.

  • At Alight, privacy is a foundational part of care. Because we do not participate with insurance plans and are not affiliated with outside entities, your health information remains within our practice unless you choose to authorize its release.
